There are many Trick Questions on the State Board Exam, and thousands go home from their Exam each day, without a License, and in tears, because of them.
Consider the example below.
The average pH of the human body is:
a) 4.5 – 6.5, b) 4.5 – 5.5, c) 6.2 – 7.9, d) 7.2 – 8.5
If you said “B”, you are absolutely wrong!!!
The average pH of human hair, skin, and nails is 4.5-5.5 and the Milady Textbook says this on at least 6 different pages- but: the question didn’t ask that, the question asked the average pH of the human body. Human hair, skin, and nails OR Human Body (body = 7.2-8.5).
Is this a Trick question – probably.
Is it asked on the Exam in many states – Yes.
Is it in the Milady, Pivot Point, or CLIC books – No.
Is it in our study-guide – YES.
