As you probably know, the State Board Examiners use at least 4 textbooks to create your Exam; and no matter which of these 4 textbooks were used in your school, they all refer to “Lines” over-and-over again.

So you should expect to see several questions about “Lines” on your Exam.

Below are the types of “Lines” you need to be familiar with:

1) Line of Demarcation

2) Cutting Lines

3) Design Lines

4) Guide Lines (2 types):
a) Stationary Guide Lines, and
b) Traveling Guide Lines

5) Weight Lines (3 types):
a) Diagonal Lines,
b) Horizontal Lines, and
c) Vertical Lines

Understanding these “Lines” will easily add 3 or 4 points to your SBE score.
